Creating colourful product mock-ups for all Mrs Wordsmith’s print products.


The Brief

Working with Mrs Wordsmith’s beloved character illustrations and signature style, I created a series of dynamic product mock-ups that tell stories beyond just showing the products. Each design features whimsical illustrated elements that are the heart of thier brand identity, to bring Mrs Wordsmith’s educational world to life.


Process
  • Clarify the varying use cases for digital mock product imagery across marketing to get the maximum deliverable from the artwork.
  • Create mocks, then variations of colour and dimentions for email, socials, website and presentation decks.
  • It’s always good to think about the longevity of a design. These were created in 2022 and have stood the test of time, as well as multiple product cover variations. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Impact
  • Countless website images, covering over 20 product bundle variations as well as 40+ individual products.
  • All mocks are editable for the rest of the design team to pull assets and change covers as and when needed.
  • Evergreen imagry of the best-sellers to be used for over 4 years
  • Creating vital imagry that has stood the test of time, as well as multiple product cover variations. External agency use and use across ALL marketing and internal platforms.
  • Most importantly, contributed to boosted sales!

My Favourite Part

Seeing how these playful mock-ups have helped bring our products to life across all our channels – from email headers to social posts to google ads! The product pallete stand design mock successfully landed Mrs Wordsmith space in a major US retailer store, proving that making education fun can look pretty epic too.
