Directing a product content shoot for Mrs Wordsmith’s best-sellers.


The Brief

To create quality images and video clips to market Mrs Wordsmith’s top selling products with limited time on a small budget.


Process
  • Clarify the varying use cases for photographic product imagery across marketing to get the maximum deliverable from the photoshoot.
  • Created a detailed shot list, curated to show the best elements of the product, down to the most engaging and entertaining pages of the book.
  • Selecting models, and putting together a light, neutral wardrobe so the bright, colourful products really stand out.
  • Shoot day! Alongside creative director Lady San Pedro, photographer Liesel Böckl and videographer Yuta Fukuda, we powered through a jam-packed list of shots. Managing the child talents and keeping on top of important details like specific words to showcase for optimal marketing.
  • Not forgetting to have fun with it, capturing moments when the kids really engaged with the products themselves.
